Ladakh; “Little Tibet in India” is the northernmost part of India, at an elevation of 11000 ft. in the Himalayas. It has a unique culture, climate, topography, lifestyle and religion; completely different from the rest of India. Speaking the Ladakhi language, a dialect of Tibetan, its people have lived peacefully, for centuries, in a self-sustained society guided by Tibetan Buddhist spirituality.
