January 24, 2010 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

$10

Learn how mandala artist Kaho Koinuma creates pointillistic original drawings through prayer and devotion. How the mandalas have helped her through challenging times and supported expansion. How they continue to refl ect the true nature of all things and help her discover the Truth of her own being. And, much much more…
Mandalas have been a sacred tool for meditation, healing, and transformation in most cultures throughout human history.
A Mandala (Sanskrit word for “Circle,” meaning wholeness, unity, oneness, and womb fo creation) represents the infi nite layers of consciousness and geometric design of the universe.
The afternoon will also include a slideshow of over 60 mandalas with Sanskrit chanting by, Vidya Yuka designed to invoke inspiration, awaken the Heart, and invite deep relaxation.
Sanskrit Chanting is the essence of Universal Love. This pure and sacred vibration (sound) was transmitted into the hearts of the great sages and passed down through aural tradition for over 5ooo years. Like mandalas, they contain the wizdom and information from the Universe, activate the remembrance of who one truly is, and support the blossoming of one’s fullest potential.

After the show, one of her work was donated to Shneider Hospital Honolulu
