Dr. Ruriko Tsushima: What You Can Do Now for a Healthy and Happy Future

After graduating from Hirosaki University School of Medicine in 1984, she served as an assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Tokyo School of Medicine, and later as the head obstetrician-gynecologist at the Perinatal Center of Tokyo Metropolitan Bokutoh Hospital. In 2002, she established the Women’s Wellness Ginza Clinic.

In 2003, she founded the Women’s Medical Network, an organization that takes a comprehensive approach to women’s mental and physical health and their connection to society. The network promotes medical care that supports women’s health (women’s outpatient care) and collaborates with 450 female doctors and healthcare professionals nationwide. She is actively engaged in providing information and awareness initiatives for women’s lifelong health.

She has made appearances on various media platforms, including NHK’s Today’s Health and Sukusuku Kosodate, TV Asahi’s Tetsuko’s Room, Fuji TV’s Woman’s Salon, LaLaTV’s LaLa Women’s Outpatient, and BS TwellV’s Karada Salad.

She is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine.
